We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant - such an unusual setting, and so very relaxed.  The staff were superb, and the food some of the best we had on our holiday.  We highly commend Lo Gorissado for the quality of food, service and ambience.

Salat la Caneda...staying a weekbtravelling around our 4th time to France we decided to make this a 11 week trip with various countries driving around on the right side of the road. 6000km approximately.  We stopped here for a week.We decided to treat ourselves to somewhere different and out of town.So I jumped online to look at Restaurants and reviews and came across &#39;Le Meysset&#39;.We were early to our booking and promptly seated by our waitress. Our French....well we try...our waitresses English was excellent. Must of been the 2 years in Ireland too that helped her on her way and with fond memories of the country.The Menu was a little challenge with the options...however we managed.We discussed a wine and the suggestion was terrific.The food was creative delicious and good-sized portions....terrific. We also were given the opportunity to select our knives for our main. Nice touch.Our desert was such a surprise... lit up and dramatic.Sumptious flavours.We dined and walked out such happy patrons. If in the area again. We would go back in an heart beat. Well done....beautiful spacious settings too. Affordble.Thankyou it&#39;s Magic

This is an attractive modern restaurant south of the  old city with easily available parking.  The service is warm but inexperienced, with periods of inattention.  The menu is a modern interpretation of the traditional dishes found here, with some international additions.  It is both rich and light, very well prepared and extremely copious.  Share a wonderful salad.  We will return!

Fantastic food, a real Pergordien expierience. Great atmosphere - an outdoor farm-like setting with an outstanding cook.

We selected this restaurant based on the excellent reviews of the food, despite it being a little out of the way. The drive there, although windy and narrow, is very pretty, and not too far from Sarlat/Beynac (&lt;15 min). I would rate the food, unfortunately, as very technically good, but not exciting or particularly creative. We tried the duck (both leg and the duck breast), and it was very well made, but again standard for an upscale restaurant. The fish filet was also good, but the side dishes were sub-par: under-seasoned and unimaginative. The wine service also rather disappointing, with only a handful of wines to choose from (~6-7 whites and maybe 10 reds, mostly local). The restroom was also not the cleanest.

Food was amazing and so beautifully presented. The price was actually surprisingly low considering the quality and quantity of food. Communication was a little difficult since there were no English-speaking servers there on the night ate there, but we made it through with the help of Google translate.

Lo Gorrisado is tucked away in woodland.and wewere a little bemused at first .The outdoor eating looked a little untidy but all the tables were well presented with white linen and subdued lighting.As the place filled up it became more atmospheric.The service was good but the was of an excellent standard
